Decent, clean and dog friendly hotel. Plenty of walking space outside for dogs to go to the toilet. Good location near the motorway without any traffic noise with it being just away from the busy road.
No plug sockets next to the bed which was a bit annoying but that was the only negative.

First time here, easy to get to quiet and wonderful view of lake from my room, Great location with Subway next door and Pizza restaurant 70 yards away with other places less than 10 minutes stroll away. Don't use post code on sat nav use road name instead.Would highly recommend.

Nice little hotel if not abit "odd" as my father would say "what type of hotel doesn't have a bar" although a pizza place next door if you are feeling like spending a few quid. Nice location and clean rooms, the Lady on the reception was pleasant and well spoken also!

3 miles off the A1 good place to stop overnight. Rooms overlooking the lake. Clear up the rubbish at the front of the hotel Travelodge, and your ratings will improve

Fine for a few nights stay, easy parking and check in and quiet location. Great view of the lake from our window. However pillows are awful - hard and uncomfortable which meant a poor nights sleep.

The rooms are quite small but it was big enough for what I needed it for.
It was nice and clean.
I was staying here for work but I had my car so I could just pop out if needed, however I didn't need to. I stayed for 24 hours.
The lakeside shopping centre is within walking distance.
The rustic pizza restaurant underneath the hotel was really nice. There's also a subway which I didn't visit.
The only thing I could pick at is the plug sockets which are not close to the bed. Luckily I had an extension.
All in all it was decent. You get what you pay for.

Ideally located for shopping .. football or horse racing. Very nice hotel with pleasant views of the lake if you get on the right side of the hotel.

Excellent location, next to lake and a 5 minute walk to the upmarket shopping mall.
Parking is good but make sure you enter your registration number when you check in for the duration of your stay.
Staff are extremely helpful and polite.

Booked as close to dome but unfortunately our show was cancelled night before. However, taxi into town was quick and reasonable so still had good night! Unfortunately found bed and pillows bit uncomfortable and room really warm no air con so we didn’t sleep too well. Also, toilet had old urine stains on seat so not as clean as it should have been! Probably wouldn’t choose again if I visit Doncaster in the future as lots of other options close by.

Great location on the lake if you have a car. Lacks any form of lounge area or restaurant for breakfast but there are plenty of alternatives in the vicinity. Rooms are clean and well serviced. Bed was good.

This hotel is not safe. Would never stay here again after such a traumatic night. Male reception staff tried to physically force his way in to females room under false pretence. Other guests had to come out of their rooms to get him away. This male reception member then came back to the room in the middle of the night to try and get in again. The manager did not seem concerned over this behaviour.
Do not stay here, it is not safe!
